It all begins with water:
Many years ago, founders Bob and Sandra Scott made an impressive discovery:  Their trees and plants that received water via a drip system had far better health, required less fertilizing and chemical spraying, and wasted less water than other plants receiving water via the convention nursery “overhead” spray method.  Years later, we are still the greenest by utilizing drip systems that dramatically improve plant health, reduces the need for chemical spraying, and wastes virtually no water.

We only offer trees and plants proven to be the most suitable for our unique Middle Tennessee environment.  These varieties have proven track records of drought tolerance, insect and disease resistance, and cold tolerable.  There are several popular trees that Long Hollow will not carry and are harmful to the environment.
