Starting with mere seedlings, hand planted in the winter of 1974, Bob and Sandra Scott had no idea just how far their branches would eventually reach. Nourished in the fertile Sumner County soil, the two carefully cultivated their ideas into one of the south-east’s premier garden centers that now spans three family generations. The family business is dedicated to nurturing individual trees, individual gardens, and individual clients to foster the living environment for the future generations. Outside the Farmhouse Studio at the nursery, a giant Sugar Maple shades the playground where the third generation enjoys the swings: It was the first tree Bob planted.
